RANGE RULES
Safety is always the primary concern of our staff. If you are ever in doubt of what to do, ask a Range Officer. If you ever have a problem with a firearm, lay the gun down pointed down range and seek assistance from a range officer.
ALWAYS POINT A FIREARM IN A SAFE DIRECTION
FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT
TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED AT ALL TIMES
KNOW YOUR TARGET AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
Firearms brought into the building must be unloaded. If a firearm is not in a case or container, the action or cylinder must be locked open and pointed in a safe direction.
All firearms and ammunition are subject to inspection and approval by range officers.
No holstered firearms are allowed in or on the range at any time without prior permission. Law enforcement, CCW holders and students accompanied by an approved instructor are exempt.
Range Officers will remove anyone handling a firearm in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.
Range Officers will remove anyone believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Firearms may only be discharged in the booths at the firing line.
Do not exchange firearms with another lane. Switch shooters, not firearms.
Persons under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 21, both on and off the range. All minors MUST be able to shoot parallel to the ground
Minimum age to use the range is 21. At least 1 person in a group must be 21.
Eye and ear protection is always required while on the range.
No more than 2 shooters allowed on a lane.
No hollow points, steel jacket or steel core ammunition.
Load and unload firearms in your assigned lane at the shooting stand only.
Food and drink will not be allowed on the range.If you drop something place the firearm on the counter and then bend over to pick it up.
Do not, under any circumstance, bring any loaded or jammed firearm off the range for any reason. If there is a problem, lay the firearm down in your booth, pointed down range and notify a Range Officer. Failure of this rule will be a $40.00 fine attached to your bill.
Destroyed or damaged target hangers will result in a $40.00 charge per damage.
No rapid-fire or double tapping is permitted. Allow at least one second between shots.
On a CEASE FIRE command, unload your firearm, remove the magazine, open the action, lay the firearm down and step back behind the yellow line. Do not move forward of the yellow line for any reason until the Range Officer calls ALL CLEAR.
When entering or leaving the range, wait for one door to close before opening the second door.
Rental guns must be used with range ammunition only.
Rental guns must be returned with the magazine out and action or cylinder open.
Due to insurance anyone wishing to rent a firearm must have their own firearm(s) or another person with them.
Pregnant women are not allowed on the range at any time.
DO NOT throw any ammunition or brass into the trash containers.
Clean up after yourself and sweep all casings forward of the firing line.
DO NOT go forward of the firing line or pass in front of booths at any time for any reason.
NO open toe shoes.
NO loose-fitting low-cut shirts or blouses
